Visual Guide to Lock Picking

The book Visual Guide to Lock Picking, is exactly what it sounds like. It teaches you the inner workings of locks and how to pick them. The book covers a wide variady of locks, some of wich been around for centeries. I decided to pick up this book because i looked into the art of lock picking and it intreaged me, so i looked further into it. The book has allowed me to have a deeper understanding of the inner workings of locks and look at how they work. This gives me the knolage i need to know how to bypass a lock if i ever need to.

Leaving Eve

I have decided to abandon Taking Eve and move on to another book. I think Taking Eve is too slow, and needs to pick up the speed quicker. Im looking for a new book, and it might not be something id normaly read. Taking Eve would have been more interesting if it had more, it just felt bare. The lack of action and too much build up in the begining makes it sound like an old story that puts kids to sleep. If the book had more action and a faster build up to start explaning things, then it would be a better read.

Taking Eve theme post

The theme so far of Taking Eve is that you can be blinded by what you love. This is demonstrated throughout the first half of the book. An example was when Janes dog Toby got sick and she stoped at nothing to get him to summer island so he could get medical treatment. Another example is when Celeb stayedwith Jane (spoiler) when she got shot, insted of going after the killer like he would have if it was someone else. Another example is Joe going to summer island to make sure Jane is ok and not fully taking care of Eve. The last example would be in Doane chasing Eve and making this elabarate plan to catch her over his dead son Kyle. The bigest example of theme was the last, because Doane could have just asked Eve to do what he wanted, then if she refused,captured her (unless there is a curveball later in the book). He thought up an elabarate plan to get her isolated and then move in to take her, blinded from finding the true awnsers about Kyle insted.
